Save time and money : Getting Organised

Part of the moto of weekly meal plans is that of “saving time”.

Save time by having your shopping list categorized in groups. eg dairy, butchery, fruit and veg etc.

Arrange your route so that you pick out fresh vegetables and fruits last; this prevents them from being crushed and bruised by other items.

“Weekly Meal Plans” shopping list is arranged in convenient categories. Try mapping your shopping list to your specific shops aisles and that will instantly save some time in your week. Mark each category 1, 2, 3, 4 so you know which section to look at in your shop of choice.

A second time saving tip is to limit your food shopping to one trip per week if possible. The less time spent in the supermarket, the less money you’ll likely spend too.
