Honey Glazed Pork Fillet
Ingredients
- 45 g butter
- 450 g pork fillet [cut into 5cm cubes]
- 4 carrot [medium in size - sliced 2cm]
- 3 sticks celery [sliced - 2cm]
- 1 onion [medium in size]
- salt and pepper [to taste]
- 1/4 tsp dried sage
- 45 ml honey
- 30 ml lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp crushed garlic
- 300 g basmati rice
Instructions
- Cook rice according to packaging instructions.
- Meanwhile. Fry pork and carrots in butter on medium heat. Pork must be browned (approx. 6 min.)
- Add remaining ingredients, stir to combine. Cover and simmer for approx. 12 min or till vegetables are tender, yet still firm.
- Serve honey glazed pork with steamed rice.
