Honey Glazed Pork Fillet

Ingredients
  

  • 45 g butter
  • 450 g pork fillet [cut into 5cm cubes]
  • 4 carrot [medium in size - sliced 2cm]
  • 3 sticks celery [sliced - 2cm]
  • 1 onion [medium in size]
  • salt and pepper [to taste]
  • 1/4 tsp dried sage
  • 45 ml honey
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp crushed garlic
  • 300 g basmati rice

Instructions
 

  • Cook rice according to packaging instructions.
  • Meanwhile. Fry pork and carrots in butter on medium heat. Pork must be browned (approx. 6 min.)
  • Add remaining ingredients, stir to combine. Cover and simmer for approx. 12 min or till vegetables are tender, yet still firm.
  • Serve honey glazed pork with steamed rice.
